Bio

Catalyst formed in late 2006, but has since undergone many physical and musical changes. Original members, Zane Decker (Bass/vocals) and Matt Calabrese (Rhythm guitar) first replaced their former drummer and added Dave Rucki (Drums and Cymbals). After a few months of searching for additional replacements they discovered, Matt Reynolds (Keyboard/guitar) and Steve Puccio (Lead guitar) who brought a whole new dimension of music to the band. Since finalizing their lineup in September of 2007, Catalyst has grown as a band, writing new, original music with a progressive rock style. Their riveting harmonies and fast yet melodic rhythm section showcases some serious talent. Their sound is probably the farthest from mainstream you'll ever hear. The passion and skill these five musician’s hold is sure to grab an audience’s attention; and their musical talent and outstanding showmanship will leave them anxious to see how far this band plans to skyrocket.
